Maggie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Interior Design from Texas State University. Maggie is a Registered Interior Designer through the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners and is an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers.  She proudly holds the Interior Design industry’s most recognized benchmark of proficiency and commitment to design principles and practices, the National Council of Interior Design Certification.  

With a strong focus on authenticity and timeless design, Maggie brings her 20+ years of experience in the residential design industry to each project she works on.  She possesses an innate desire for creating thoughtful interiors and can masterfully layer color, texture, and pattern, to blend the traditional with the unexpected.    She utilizes her extensive travel experience, her love of natural materials and textures, and her foundation in architectural design, to create one-of-a-kind spaces that are sophisticated yet approachable.   She believes that creativity, collaboration, and communication are vital to the success of any team, and she loves the challenges that arise in the ever-evolving design world.

Maggie joined the Partners in Building team 18 years ago and leads our team of talented Designers as our Design Center Manager.   She works with the design teams in Houston, Nashville, and Dallas, and is the Lead Designer for our Houston model home projects.  Maggie loves to spend time with her husband and two amazing boys, traveling the world, and embarking on new adventures, and can usually be found with a camera in her hand!
 

Cheryl, a native Houstonian, boasts over two decades of expertise in the homebuilding and design center industry. Her journey began with a liberal arts degree from Texas A&M University, where she discovered her passion for marketing within the realm of homebuilding. However, fueled by a desire for a more hands-on and creative role, Cheryl transitioned into interior design, earning her education from Houston Community College.

With a knack for building strong relationships, Cheryl prioritizes understanding her clients' needs, priorities, and budgets to bring their home design visions to life. Her approach centers on creating spaces that not only reflect her clients' unique styles but also seamlessly align with their lifestyles. Cheryl's ultimate goal is to ensure her clients feel not only satisfied but truly at home in the spaces she designs, fostering a sense of comfort and belonging that lasts a lifetime.
 

Melanie, a native Houstonian, has cultivated her passion for design into a thriving career. Armed with an Interior Design Degree from the Art Institute of Houston, she has spent over two decades mastering the intricacies of the home building industry. From production homes to custom builds, Melanie's 12-year tenure as a Senior Designer at PIB has been marked by excellence, culminating in her recognition as Designer of the Year in 2023.

Beyond her professional achievements, Melanie finds fulfillment in her role as a mother to two remarkable kids, Aston and Deacon. Her approach to design is guided by a deep commitment to understanding her clients' needs and preferences, ensuring that every project is a true reflection of their style and budget. With a belief that the design process should be enjoyable, Melanie prioritizes creating a positive experience for her clients, infusing each project with creativity, enthusiasm, and a touch of fun!

A native Texan, she has proudly called Houston home since 1994. As a devoted wife and mother of two, she wears the hats of both baseball and dance mom with equal enthusiasm.

Her academic pursuits led her to Texas State University San Marcos, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences with a specialization in Interior Design. Immersing herself in diverse cultures, she had the privilege of studying abroad in the design capitals of London and Paris, igniting her passion for global aesthetics.

Exploration fuels her soul, whether traversing the globe or diving into the pages of a captivating design tome. Family game nights and contributing to meaningful causes through philanthropy work are integral parts of her life's tapestry.

With five years of experience as a philanthropy development officer, she has honed her ability to connect with people and bring their visions to life. Now, as a dedicated real estate professional, she channels that expertise into helping her clients craft their dream homes. Her mission is to provide a foundation—a beautiful canvas—for them to build upon, ensuring they find solace and joy in their spaces day after day.

Annabelle is a Designer with a specialized focus on drafting technical documents using AutoCAD. She commenced her academic journey at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco before returning to her hometown to pursue her degree at The Art Institute of Houston. While her primary role centers on drafting for Partners in Building, Annabelle possesses expertise in various areas including graphic design, conceptual design, and 3D rendering. Notably, she excels in rendering for VR production, showcasing her versatility and proficiency in emerging technologies.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Annabelle finds fulfillment in physical activities such as strength training, ziplining, obstacle courses, and extreme hiking during her leisure time. Her diverse interests and commitment to both professional and personal growth underscore her dedication to excellence in all aspects of her life.

Born in California and raised in The Woodlands, TX, Sydney is a passionate interior designer with a B.S. in Interior Design from UTSA. She has gained extensive experience in remodel and custom residential homes in both San Antonio and Houston. With a fondness for design styles like French Country and Spanish Revival, Sydney possesses a keen eye for harmonizing textures, materials, and hues to craft spaces that fulfill a buyer's dreams. She prides herself on bringing a fresh perspective to custom home design, infusing each project with creativity and innovation.
